SPOILERS!!!!
BEWARE!!!!!! … YOU have been WARNED ... This won't make any sense at all if you haven't seen either Starwars episode 2 or read the 7th Harry Potter book. Now for an explanation: The Elder Wand, one of the Deathly Hallows, is also called the 'deathstick'. And for some strange reason all throughout the book whenever they mentioned the object as the 'deathstick' I was reminded of the scene in Starwars where Obi-Wan gets a drink at a bar and a stranger approaches him. That stranger says "Do you wanna buy some deathsticks?" Obi-wan does a mind trick, telling the guy he doesn’t want to sell him deathsticks. The guy copies what he says. Obi-wan then tells him to go home and rethink his life. Anyway; in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Harry is quite desperate to get the Elder Wand, the 'deathstick' before Voldemort does. So I just thought it would be funny if, in his desperation, he burst upon this Starwars scene expecting the guy to be selling the 'deathstick', a.k.a the Elder Wand, instead of the stupid little narcotics. Lol, stupid and random little crossover, but it gave me a laugh  |
