Can you just imagine what would happen if Luke Skywalker found a picture of his parents wedding in the Lars homestead storage room?
would it go something like this?--
"Uncle Owen who are they?” Luke asked curiously tohis sand-grimed uncle.
Owen stared in disbelief at what his young nephew was holding."..."
How was Luke able to find the hidden Skywalker picture? Owen was in a tight spot. He couldn't tell the boy about his parentage--The boy was eleven for goodness sake! He had to protect the boy at all costs especially with Darth Vader at large...But what if If he didn't tell him who they were? What if Luke got some crazed adventurous and reckless idea, fuelled by his desire to know who the people were in the holophoto and take a quest to find them? It was no doubt that Anakin and Padme were well remember throughout the galaxy, and if someone found out about it with close ties to the empire...uh-oh.
But now there was only one thing Owen realized could do. He had to tell the truth despite the dangers of the revelation. Better safe and save than sorry. This was the only way...Worriedly Owen cleared his throat and took a deep breath--"Luke. Let me tell you something that will change your life forever..."
OK now switching over to a FAR BETTER WRITER...My Devfriend :uvnote: [link]

CONTINUE WITH THE STORY--
...Worriedly Owen cleared his throat and took a deep breath--"Luke. Let me tell you something that will change your life forever..." Owen stopped, the words caught somewhere his throat. He just couldn't do it. He looked down at his nephew's expectant face and quickly improvised. "You had a brother." The young boy's eyes grew wide and he stared down at the picture, at the blue eyes so like his own.
"Yes," Owen went on determinedly, gathering confidence as the lie went undetected, "a brother. He fell alongside your father, fighting the Empire ..."
"But this picture is so OLD!" the child exclaimed.
Sweat began to bead on Owen's forehead and he irritably wiped it away. "He was several years older than you, and..."
"Who's the pretty lady?"
"How come I don't remember him?"
Owen breathed a sigh of relief; at last, a question he could answer. "He died before you were born, Luke."
"Oh..." the boy's face fell and he stuffed the picture back into his pocket with sticky fingers, his expression woebegone. "Is that why you and Aunt Pru don't talk about him?"
Owen captured the sticky little hand in his own massive palm and began leading the boy back inside. "Your...brother...he was a very special boy, Luke. While he was alive...well, while he was alive, I truly believed that the galaxy could be saved. And when he fell, it seemed that all hope was lost...so, we...we just couldn't talk..." Angry tears unexpectedly sprouted from Owens' eyes and he dashed them aside with his free hand. Luke looked uncomfortably away. Then he turned back to his uncle, a wide smile adorning his features.
"Well, you don't need to cry, because when I grow up I'm going to be just like him!" With another bright smile the boy skipped away with the confidence of youth, already scheming up childish, fanastical plans to save the galaxy.
"...when I grow up I'm going to be just like him!" Owen felt his heart turned to ice.
OK THIS IS ELOCINAQUI"S WRITING NOW!
Owen would never flat out tell Luke about his parentage, possibly NEVER tell--or at least not until he was an adult.
So it is something fun to just ponder about^_^
