I haven't had internet access for the last week, so I'm a bit late replying to your comments. Thanks for all the suggestions for music. It's much appreciated. I've already looked at some of your recommendations and promise to look at the rest of them soon. They really rock!

Now..I would like to know if you have any suggestions for the more classical or instrumental music. From soundtracks, orchestral concerts, etc. Suggest away. ( I'm an orc-dork ) Especially recomment good soundtracks if you could.

Have you ever gotten tired of the music you are listening too?
I feel like that right now. I mean, I love my music, but I'm searching for something new;
something inspiring. So, lol, I'm wondering if any of you have any suggestions.

I like any genre except country and rap. I would prefer something that isn't well known--( not the popular well known songs that everyone knows etc ) I'm looking for something unique but still good-I-can't-stop-listening-to-this-song sort of good. I don't mind if it's in a language other than English ( or Jap or Thai )--bring it on!

Sia - breathe me (or any of her songs are good to listen to when you want to relax) and Dido (the same)

Aimee Allen (a rockish singer)

Deftones (A strong metal rock band)

A Fine Frenzy - Almost Lover

Garbage - (any song, heavy sounds almost grungish)

Enigma - (what ever your fancy)

Rise Against is a very good band, especially the song Survive: [link]

And from what little of theirs I've listened to, Breaking Benjamin and Sum-41 are both good...same with Something Corporate.

I honestly never know if a band or song is "popular" or not, so maybe you've heard of all those before.

A Perfect Circle is an excellent band with a different sound. Their album "Thirteenth Step" is their best, though they have two others in addition to that; "Mer de Noms" and "eMOTIVe." Each album has a different sound and mood to it.

Umm, if you're okay with punk and/or metal, try:

Thrice--listen to the CD's Artist in the Ambulance and Vheissu. If you like that, then try their earlier stuff.

Autopilot Off--specifically their self-titled EP, but Make a Sound is also good

Alexisonfire--lots of swear words, but if you're okay with that, they're fantastic

The Living End--I've only heard their self-titled album, but I assume all of their stuff is excellent

I have more, if you like these bands.

Arctic Monkeys are quite...interesting. they're not new, but they've got some interesting sound.
and if you like instrumental (especially guitar) you should check out andy mckee. he's got some beautiful songs.
hm. the strokes are quite good. And bloc party, a weekend in the city is their best album i think. and elbow, they've got some nice songs. quite calm ^_^
